ABOUT THE LIFE EDITS

Life rarely needs

blowing up.

Sometimes it just needs

reconsidering.

────

The Life Edits began with a simple idea.

By the time we reach midlife, most of us have

built a life that works perfectly well on paper.

Careers, relationships, families,

responsibilities, routines.

We've become exceptionally

good at keeping all of it moving.

THE WOMAN BEHIND THE EDITS

Yes, there is a woman

behind all this.

────

The Life Edits didn’t begin because I had midlife figured out. Quite the opposite.

After more than twenty years in corporate life, I reached a point where the version of success I had spent years building simply didn’t feel like mine anymore. On paper, very little was wrong. I had the career, the experience, the title and all the things we’re taught to keep climbing towards. But somewhere along the way, I’d stopped asking whether I actually wanted any of it.

Leaving corporate life gave me the space to start asking those questions properly, and The Life Edits grew out of what followed. Initially, I thought it would be about helping other women navigate their own midlife changes. In many ways it still is, but it has become something broader than that.

Because I’m still editing too.

My life today looks very different from the one I imagined even a few years ago, and I suspect it will look different again a few years from now. I’ve changed how I work, how I define success, what I value, what I’m willing to tolerate and, perhaps most importantly, how much permission I give myself to change my mind.

That’s why I don’t believe midlife needs another expert standing at the front of the room telling women what their next chapter should look like.

I’m much more interested in creating a place where we can talk honestly about the choices, contradictions, freedoms and occasional WTF moments that come with figuring it out for ourselves.
